I started my career at a large commercial law firm in Toronto, Canada, where I practiced in the areas of corporate governance and commercial litigation. In 2011, I moved to Maui, where I joined a small litigation firm specializing in foreclosure relief for homeowners. From there, I went in-house to a property development company working closely with the executive team on corporate compliance and permitting.

In 2014, I joined a litigation firm and focusing on construction defect and real estate litigation. I also advised the firm’s corporate and condominium association clients on issue of governance, fiduciary responsibility, conflicts of interest, and statutory compliance.

Since 2014, I have also maintained a substantial intellectual property practice. I have prosecuted 80+ trademarks before the United States Patent and Trademark Office and represented clients before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.

I graduated Summa Cum Laude from York University in Toronto, Canada, in 2007, with a Bachelor of Arts double-major in Sociology and Law & Society. From there, I attended Osgoode Hall Law School in Toronto.

I spent my summers during law school as a summer student at Davies Ward Phillips & Vineberg LLP, where I started my Articles after passing the Ontario bar exam in 2010.

I am presently and actively licensed in California and Hawaii, with admission pending in Arizona. I previously held a license to practice law in Ontario, Canada, which I voluntarily surrendered when I moved back to the United States.

I grew up on the island of Maui until I was 10 years old. My family moved to Auckland, New Zealand, where I attended high school.

I played soccer on the New Zealand National Team from 13 to 19 years old. I had the honor and fortune of travelling around the world playing the game that was my first love.

In 2002, I moved to Toronto, Canada, to play professional soccer. After tearing my ACL, I decided to go to college and, from there, to pursue a legal career.

In 2010, after too many Canadian winters, I moved back to Maui.

I now live between Maui and Scottsdale, Arizona. I travel back and forth every few weeks, managing our family businesses, real estate investment portfolio, and blended family of six!
